FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL.......

I KNOW I KNOW....IM SO FAR BEHIND!! Jess was just giving me crap about it, so I decided I needed to just try and get caught up!!

This is Branson on his first day of 7th grade!

3 days a week, I am kid-less for a couple of hours...I might be able to get use to this;)

As much as I love a little free time every once in awhile, I do miss them when they are gone. I have to clean with music blasting or be talking on the phone because I hate it so quiet! I can't believe how fast my little family is growing up.....I am so thankful to have been blessed with such great kids who can put up with a mom like me!! Love you guys:)

RED ROCK RELAY!!.....

I just ran in the Red Rock Relay with 11 other girls......we completed 186 miles total!!

It was so much fun......but very exhausting!! We had a BBQ the night before and then got things to decorate out car with in the morning. Our team name was "WE'RE KIND OF A BIG DEAL" I guess it comes from the movie Anchor Man.....Haley took pictures of us with our headbands on and then distorted our faces.....it was hilarious and we stuck them all over the cars along with pics of Will Farell! All of the quotes on our cars are from the movie also......

Daisy was our first runner and I was the 2nd from our van. My first run was 5 miles....it was a killer because of the altitude change. We were 10,000ft up!! I instantly got a headache and was glad I had my inhaler!! But I finished in great time!

Love these girls......it was so much fun!

just waiting for Summer to return from her run....we would drive up about 2 miles and make sure our runner was ok and if they needed anything......it got a little scary running during the night. Especially if there was nobody else around.......

Run Girls Run!!

Here is Megan after her scary night run! She had to run down Cedar Mountain and diesels were hauling butt up and there wasn't much room for her to run....we drove up ahead and stayed close by until she got into town.....

Ok....we were so tired and soooo ready for bed! We were now at the washington city rec center....when we arrived it was dark outside. We laid down our blankets and slept as long as we could.....the sun came up so we ended up only sleeping for about 1.5 hours!! I woke up to dog crap right next to my head!! YUCK!

1.5 hours of sleep....woohoo ready to run my last leg!! I didn't get any pics of my 2nd leg because it was so dark. It was a little scary.....I could hear coyotes the whole time...but it made me run faster so I could keep up with everyone and not be left alone:) My 3rd leg I ran through Hurricane!

This was a killer for me.....a 7 miler at the end of a very exhausting race and it was flat for about the first 2 miles and then......UPHILL the rest!! and my dang ipod stopped working after about 2 miles into it!!

yes I know......I look like death! I couldn't wait for this part to be over!

Summer......she got injured the night before this so she ran as much as she could...2 miles. so the rest of us had to pitch in and help....we all ran about 1-1.5 miles each until her leg was over...TEAMWORK!!

every time we would finish a leg, we would mark our own leg so by the end we had 3 big marks down our calves.......it was 106 degrees in Enterprise......total dessert!! It mad it tuff to run....

After no showering,no sleep,hardly any food,upset stomachs,bathroom emergencies,bottles of Ibprophen, we had a great time!!

FIREWORKS WITH THE NEIGHBORS!!

Our neighbors The Nikolaus' invited us over for fireworks on the 24th! Below is Brooks and Maggie lighting the fireworks......

The kids had a lot of fun and we also found out the The Nikolaus family is NUTS around fire! They were jumping over the fire.....waiting until the last second to throw them....I was just waiting for someone's hand to blow up!! AHHHHHH!

We had a lot of fun and our neighbors are the best!!

Tyce turned 2 years old yesterday!! August 26th....

What a cute little stinker he is! It makes me so sad that I don't get to see him very much....he is just growing up so fast! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYCE...WE LOVE YOU!

24th of July celebration!!

24th of July..... Well I am trying to get caught up, but it isn't going very well!! I am not a patient person when it comes to blogging!!

We had dinner with the Lundin and Ludlow family and most of their kids!! It was so much fun and I love that we can still get together and all catch up!

WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT SISTERS!!!

I love my sisters so much and am so thankful that they are in my life! It was Jessica's birthday yesterday....Aug.12th she is my BABY sister! She is such an amazing wife, mother, aunt, hard worker, friend, and sister! We are 8 years apart and I just remember babysitting her ALOT when she was younger......Im surprised she doesn't hate me!! haha. I did repay her by "letting" her help me raise my kids! ha.. But age doesn't matter as you get older...she is one of my best friends and Im going to miss her so much when she moves:( I don't even want to think about not seeing her or my little Karcyn!! (yes Mike I will miss you too!) Thanks Jess for ALWAYS being there for me and for my kids......I HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT BIRTHDAY!! LOVE YA!

Randi's birthday is today...Aug.13th.......it is actually Friday the 13th today! AHHHHH!! Even though she is my little sister, I learn things from her every time Im with her and I look up to her so much! She is such a FABULOUS wife, mother, aunt, hard worker, friend, and sister!! Even though she is "GO GREEN" (haha) I admire her so much! Randi and I hit heads pretty hard when we were younger......Im pretty sure that it is normal!! But as we have gotten older she has also become one of my best friends!! I wish she lived ALOT closer so we could do fun things together and I could see her darling kids more!! I miss her so much and love to talk to her when we both get time!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY RAN.....I LOVE AND MISS YOU!!

(June 26th)

SKIM BOARDING is something that Branson has really gotten good at and he loves to do it! So our friends The McAllisters were telling us a good spot to go to and her girls really wanted to try and skim.

Branson brought along a friend, Daniel Tuitavuki and they were trying to teach everybody how to do it!!

The girls loved to just float around and build sand castles at first.......

then they all got up and tried! Chantry even tried and she was really nervous!!

Now Meah on the other hand, picked it up pretty quick! Next year Im sure she will have it down perfect!! It was hilarious because she was determined that she was going to get it!!

Mckenna burried Chantry and made her have a mermaid tail!! haha.....we were all pretty sandy when we got home!

It was a fun way to pass the time on a HOT summer day!!
