Branson's first science fair project....

This is the finished product! I think that it turned out pretty good. When we found out that Branson had to do the science fair...now that he is in 5th grade, we had no idea what he was going to do. Aunt Jessica told us that she remembered a girl doing, What boils faster.....Hot or Cold water?? We thought that it was a good idea and sounded pretty easy.... EASY being the key word! But it took a little more time to do all the pictures, cutting, and pasting than we thought. I know that it doesn't help that I am kind of a freak about some things!! Branson finally went to bed at 11:45pm and I glued a couple more things on for him so he could get some sleep. By the time I was finished with the board I looked around the kitchen and it looked like a bomb had gone off! I finally got everything cleaned up and crawled into bed at about 1:15am! When Chantry came home from school that day she said,"Mom, Branson didn't win first place!" And I answered back,"Hey we weren't going for first place...just a passing grade!" Well it was our first science fair and now we know what to expect next time!! You did a great job buddy!!

ThE bIrThDaY gIrLs!!

Jamie and Elle get to share the same birthday!!
Jamie's 1 year old picture...how cute!
Jamie's first perm.
How cute is this picture.
I just had to put this one on because I couldn't stop laughing when I saw it!
Jamie and Kit are such a cute couple!!

Jamie is one of my baby sisters. She was so fun to watch grow up into a beautiful young lady. Looking back at some of these pictures, brings back so many memories. I loved watching Jamie dance at the recitals because she really got into it.. she was so cute! Even though we are about 7 years apart we are very close. My mom always says that I helped raise the last two girls, I was always babysitting them. We were all very protective of "the babies." I remember when I got my butt kicked all the way up the stairs because I took them to The Lundin's with me and my parents couldn't find us. So when they did, they were glad that we were ok, but I still got my butt kicked because they thought "the babies" were lost!:) Now that we are all grown, it is funny how much closer you become, I use to just think of Jamie as my little sister, but now she is my little sister and one of my closest friends! Jamie is such a great aunt and my kids always look forward to visits from Kit and Jamie or having sleep overs in Orderville. Happy Birthday Jamie I am so blessed to have you in my life, hope you have a great day!!

The birthday girl! She got a little dirty, playing in the dirt at Nana's
Elle playing with the cousins.
Elle loves her aunt Rae Rae!!
Kasse and Elle.
YUMMY! Ice cream birthday cake!

Oh Elly Belly what can I say...she is so dang cute! She is such a sassy little thing. And she has a high pitch scream that can break glass!! It is funny to watch Justin deal with her little attitude,I'm glad he finally got one because I have 3! She is a girly girl for sure, she will either have a couple of baby's in her arms or she will be wearing sunglasses and have a purse hanging off her shoulder. I want to wish Elle a happy birthday and let her know how much we love her!!

Spring Break at the park!!

Posted by PicasaWe thought that this spring break was going to be so boring.... but it ended up being a lot of fun!! Sometimes it is nice to just stay home and hang out. All week the kids have played with friends and stayed up late watching movies. Branson has been out late with friends every night playing night games. So my kids have slept in every morning, it has been nice! Today we decided that we would go to the park with friends. It ended up being us and the Robinson's, and we had a lot of fun! The kids were a little bummed that the splash pad wasn't working, but they had a good time having a water fight! Branson and Conner got a little bored of the park after about 15 min! We were close to my mom's house so Branson called nana to see if he and Conner could go to her house and play the WII. Kristi and I wanted to get a little color, we were going for a nice golden brown, but ended up with bright red! It was nice to have a day of play and no work. Thanks to the Kristi and her kids for helping make our spring break fun!!

More spring break pics!

Posted by PicasaThese are some more pictures of the kids at the park. I am just getting the hang of the collage thing and I seemed to have done it a little wrong...I made it two different posts! Oh well now I know. Sometimes this blogging thing makes me crazy:)!!!

sPrInG bReAk HaIrCuT

This is the front...he hates this picture, he says his hair looks to puffy:)
This is the side view...SWEET!!

Branson is our oldest and only boy.... poor kid. He is such a cutie, and yes he will be mad that I just called him a cutie! He is a momma's boy all the way and has been since he was little. He loves to hang out with his dad, but dad's are sometimes harder on their boys, especially if you are the only one!! Brooks and I are so proud of him and choices that he has made so far in his life. Whenever he feels uncomfortable about something that he knows isn't right, he will just come home and leave the situation, I have been so proud when this happens because we all know how hard it is to leave a bunch of friends! My favorite thing to do is watch him play sports, my favorite so far is soccer. Yes I am a total "soccer mom!" I can barley sit down at the games, some of that could be because Brooksby coaches his team and I am always sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for him to get kicked out of the game!! haha. Right now he is playing on a U11 and a U12 soccer team and baseball also just started! He keeps busy, but he is like his dad and can't sit still.
As you can tell from the pictures, he loves to do different things with his hair, must run in the family:) So over spring break this is what he wanted me to do!! Last year during soccer season he had his hair WHITE with the #8 shaved in the back of his head! He has had blue, black, and white hair..... he loves to freak his grandmas out!! Well I just want Branson to know how much we love him and are so blessed to have him in our family. And his sisters are so lucky to have such a great big brother!!

We were finally able to have Chantry's family birthday party! It seemed like every time that we were going to do it, somebody would be sick or out of town....but we finally made it happen. She was excited to have everybody over, but sad for the ones that couldn't be here! Chantry went to the school library and checked out a "cake book" and found this cake that she wanted Nana Evans to make! Every year the kids will pick something for Nana to create...and she always does an awesome job! They end up looking better than the pictures for sure! I want to tell all of my family and Brooks' family THANK YOU for coming to the party and for all of the cute gifts! We are so lucky to have so much support from family..We love you all!!!

Happy Birthday Amanda and Kristi!!!!

Happy Birthday to 2 great girls!!!! Amanda's birthday was on the 9th.....I know that I am late, but I was having computer issues!! I learned a few tricks lastnight, thanks to my sister-in-law! Amanda and I met when our kids started dance when they were just 2 years old,and we just hit it off! Now our girls are growing up,they are 9 years old now! I can't believe how times flies!! Amanda has always been such a great friend and I am thankful for her listening ear!!! We have been on many camping trips together and hopefully many more!! Thanks for your friendship over the years! Love ya girl!!

I have known Kristi since we were in high school together! We were on drill team and became good friends. But I was better friends with Brett because he was my age. But through Brett, Kristi and I became very close!! She was there for me at a time in my life right after high school, that I felt all alone...other than my family!! Ever since then Kristi and I have been the best of friends almost like sisters, which people often think that we are!! Thanks Kristi for EVERYTHING....we have been through it all together, laughing crying, more laughing....and I know that there will be many more laughs!!! Thanks for your friendship through the many years!! Love ya Girl!!!!

BFF!!!

This year Chantry got to choose a couple of her closest friends to come to her birthday party!! This is a rule that we have had for the past couple of years. When Chantry would make out her birthday list, it kept on getting longer and longer....last years party 24 girls!!! So every other year she gets a big party. This year she had Rylee Robinson who has been her friend since birth, Mckenna McAllister who she met at dancing when she was 2, Bailey Holt who we moved next to when she was 3, and Halle Ence who she also has been dancing with since she was 3 and is also a neighbor!! They are all cute girls and they made Chantry's birthday a lot of fun!! First we went to the hair school to get pedicures and manicures, then we went to dinner at Applebee's, went home and opened presents, played a fun game about things Chantry likes , and then they glued jewels on flip flops!![Chantry's own idea!] They had a lot of fun and I enjoy watching these girls grow up together.... I can't wait to see what the future holds for them, I am so glad that Chantry has been blessed with good friends who come from good families!!!

My Little Girl is Growing Up!!

Poor Chantry is spending her birthday with a fever and snuggled up on the couch!!
Chantry 3rd grade!
My precious little girl!!

Chantry loved her "num num's"
Chantry 2 years old my "girly girl"
So Pretty!
My little red head!!
My little dancer!!

When I was looking through some of our old pictures, I just can't believe that time has past so fast! I remember the day that I found out that I was pregnant, we were so excited and we secretly hoped that it was a girl! But Brooks and I wanted to be surprised so we decided not to find out what the baby was!! We had a lot of people bugged at us but that made it even better!! When the day finally arrived, I was so ready to welcome a new addition to our family. Branson was 2 1/2 and he was excited too. When the doctor announced that we had a beautiful baby girl, I remember Brooks looking at me and saying,"It really is a girl!" But I was shocked to see her, I was expecting a dark skinned, and dark haired baby just like her brother! But she had pale skin and red hair!! We were all shocked, but she was beautiful!! Aunt Randi called to see what I had and I wouldn't tell her. She was living up North and I said that she had to come and find out! [i'm so mean] Well late that night Randi arrived and was so excited for us!!
Chantry has been such a blessing in our family and she keeps us all laughing! Anyone that know her will say the same thing. She has such a fun personality! She is my "girly girl!" She is a beautiful dancer and loves to do crafty things and organize anything!![thanks mom and Randi] She has always had a gift of friendship! She is such a good friend. When Chantry broke her leg, I would go and spy on her at school because I was so nervous about the wheelchair, and she always had a flock of kids around her and her teacher told me that kids would fight over who would get to help Chantry on the playground! Chantry is such good big sister and a little sister to Branson. Ya, they have there momments, but they love each other!! We love you Chantry and I know that you have made your Heavenly Father proud of the decisions you have made in your life so far!! Happy Birthday!! Hope you feel better soon!! love mom and dad.
