Happy Birthday Brett!!

HaHa This is us our senior year at grad night!! Im so glad that we have been friends for so long and now our kids will grow up together!! We have some fun memories and hope to build more!!

I feel very blessed to share my birthday with such a wonderful lady!! Im sure that when she was my age, she would have put on these same pj's in target and got her picture taken! HAHA

I was the 2nd grandchild to be born and I am glad I get to share it with such a fun lady!! This is grandma and her dog.....which I am totally scared of!! This cannot be a dog.....it has to be a horse!!!

Some of my best memories of Grandma are when we all go camping!! She is a trooper to keep up with my grandpa! Almost 2 years ago my grandpartents were in a motorcylce accident and I was so scared! I was not ready to let either of them go......I know that they had guardian angels with them that day! It took Grandma awhile to recover, she had broken ribs and a broken ankle not to mention other small things! I'll never forget what the nurse said..."when I saw that this was a motorcyle accidnent, I thought they put the wrong age on the paper....it said female 71 years old, but I thought they meant 17 years old!!"NOPE 71 is right and we can laugh about it now!! I love my grandma so much and the relationship that we share!!

DRESS UP ANYONE????

This is what Chantry and Sairee do when they are bored on a Sunday........

They get dressed up in my hats and boots and dance with their ipods on!! I have a big mirror in my bathroom and I walked in on them dancing and singing to music in front of it!! It puts a smile on my face when they are actually getting along!! My little SASSY girls!

DaTe NiGhT.........

Well last weekend, we were invited to "date night" with some friends. They have a group of 10 couples that rotate every month and they have to come up with something to do! This month is was The Holt's turn.......so I knew that I didn't want to miss it they always go way out!!

First we had a great dinner dutch oven chicken and patatoes and yummy salads and desserts!

Then the games began! We were split up in to groups..."vetrans" vs "rookies"

The men had 3 sheet cakes on their table, some icing, and cake tools. They were told that they had 20 min to do whatever they wanted and then the women would judge them, not knowing who's was who's!! Can you guess which is Brooksby's??? Nope your wrong, it is the flower....it was even his idea! haha If you look close you can see where he said that he wanted the yellow part all dotted with frosting, but he didn't have time to finish so he kind of smeared it around! His teams cake did win!!

The women were handed different sizes of popsicle sticks, 2 glue guns and card board. We had to make some structure, whatever we wanted! My teams is the one that has the cute little path.....the other team is a hunting one and it was pretty cute I will admit......BUT I still think that we should have won!! haha

There was also battle of the sexes, and another dangerous game where one of you sat on this little turtle that had wheels and the other weaved you in and out of the cones, you pick up beans and go back and dump them in to the bucket and trade off until the bucket is full!! Jen Langston flew off of hers when a bean got caught in her wheel! It all ended in a tie so we had an obstacle course and 1 couple from each team was timed, Chad and Brooke were our couple... but we lost by only 10 seconds..........so we didn't walk away with this cool trophy!! haha

DANGIT I really wanted it up high on my plant shelf!!

Meah's first soccer game........

This is how I found Meah the morning of her first game! On the weekends we always let our kids sleep in the theater room and they watch a movie......well don't ask me how Meah ended up in Branson's bed because that is not where I left her! But I also didn't leave her with her soccer ball.......looks like she was so excited about her 1st game, she fell asleep with her new ball!! I bought this ball for her and she takes it everywhere......she is so funny!

Look how cute she looks, maybe a little to cute for a soccer game!! I made her and all of the little girls these cute little hair bands!!

Notice in the bigger picture that she is the only one actually looking at the ball!! She scored 2 goals that game and was so excited! But when I started yelling.."Meah get the ball" because the other team had it, she tried really hard and then ran off of the field and hugged me and said.."they won't give it to me!!" and she was crying! I felt so bad, but was laughing so hard!!

Well this is Meah during the 2nd half of the game......picking all of the dead grass off of her socks!! She told me that she was to tired and hot to play anymore!! This is going to be so fun watching her this season, she is actually pretty good......for a 3 1/2 year old:)

GOOD JOB MEAH....WE LOVE YOU!!!!

My baby went to preschool:(

Meah was so excited to go to her 1st day of preschool......until we got there! As you can see from the picture, she was pretty nervous!!

This is her best friend Lucy and good thing that she is in her preschool class because it helped Meah relax a little bit.

I thought that she looked so cute that day, even though we had about 20 minutes to get her bathed and hair roll brushed! It was the morning from "H". It all began when my alarm didn't go off......so Branson was rushed, the girls were rushed and I looked like crap on the 1st day of her preschool! So I was hoping that she wouldn't make me stay....she did great!

Look how happy she was after preschool...haha! I love this little stinker! When I picked her up, she was talking her teachers ear right off! (she must get that from her dad! haha)

After her big day, we ran in to Aunt Jamie at the hair school, so we all went to Paual's for lunch and had a great time! Meah, mom and dad are so proud of you for being such a big girl and going to preschool!! I can't believe how big you are getting.....We love you!!

Evans Family Reunion!!!

When we arrived at Uncle Charlies in Richfield, this is the first thing that Grandma showed us. She was so excited about it because her and my Grandpa built it and put in a flushable toilet! It is really cute. When you walk in it is pretty dark, so you flip on the lights and that also turns on the light outside.......that is the sign that it is in use.......Grandma was really excited about that too:) But this little house made a lot of people happy, we usually have to go into someones trailer or RV and use the bathroom.

Every year a different family is incharge. This year it was the Busk family. It is my Aunt Ruth's kids(my Grandpa Evans' sister) she passed away years ago and left behind 7 kids!! Her husband, Uncle Morgan re-married and had 2 more children and even named one of them Raelee(all of his kids start with "R") but he has always stayed close to the Evans family and comes to everything....they did such a great job and had a little carnival. The girls got their faces painted.

They had a fishing pond and the kids won these silly glasses!!

There was also a bing bag toss.......Im pretty sure that Justin still owes Branson $10.00 since he beat him! haha

There was this ride and it would spin you around upside down.....if you look close all that is holding you is seat belts!!! You knew for sure that you were at an Evans function with this contraption! Meah wanted to do it so bad, so Sairee did it with her. They just swung them back and forth......but they spun it all the way around once and the look on Meah's face was priceless!! She was so scared!!

Everyone talked me into doing it, and I thought I would be safe doing it with little Sairee. But she LOVED it and kept saying faster faster!! I thought I was going to die.....I was so sick, I couldn't even eat anything......YUCK!! But it was worth it when I heard Sairee's funny little laugh the whole time!!

Every year we have an auction and everybody donates stuff.......all of the money that is made goes to the next years reunion! Dad always does great as the MC.......

There was a lot of cotton candy left from the carnival, so you could get 2 for $1.00 at the auction..... Trey just kept grabbing bags of it, it was pretty funny!!!

It wouldn't be an Evans reunion without a water fight!! This year somehow I avoided getting wet! Branson got dad with water and it looked like he peed his pants!! Uncle Don got drenched!!!

This is Grandpa hiding from the water......it is a funny picture, looks like a modeling pose!! Meah of course loves the 4-wheeler......Chantry and Sydney were cruising everywhere and trying not to get wet........but they were drenched by the end!!

We always have such a good time at these things and we get to see our cousins that we remember growing up with, but never see anymore! My Grandparents started this tradition when they got home from their mission. We always have a little tribute to Great Grandma Helen Evans and my kids get to hear what a great lady she was!! We also get to hear stories about Great Grandpa Evans, I never met him but have learned what a great man he was!!
